100 Days!!!

100 days to go till we have another sweet little girl added to our family. She still doesn't have a definite name yet. We have a few but are kinda split on the decision. If you ask Annie she says her name is "Baby Cinderella". So that is what we call her for now. But that will not be her name.
I am so excited for the pregnancy to be done. I have not enjoyed it this time around, and defiantly not looking forward to the hot uncomfortable summer.
My sister'n law just had her little girl a week ago today. She is adorable, I cant wait to have mine. They will be good little friends.
The count is on!!!

Having Fun!

Well with a house full of girls, you figure this will happen a few times. Jillian and Annie had fun putting clips, and bows in dads hair. They got creative since the clips wouldn't stay in his hair. So they strung a ribbon over as a headband, then put the clips onto the ribbon. I thought it was cute. They love their dad, and I am glad he put up with it.
Jillian took these pictures, that is why they are weird angles.

Our Little Getaway!

We just got back from a little getaway to St. George. We went down with Brandon for a work Conference. The weather wasn't the best, but Brandon was able to play golf when we got there. And we were able to swim, indoors (while it was down pouring) and outside, since the pool was like 85 degrees. It was really nice to swim in. Other activities we did while down there, we went to a really fun park. I sure got an ab workout from it. It was not your normal park. We went hiking in Snow Canyon, went to dinner with my brother and his wife (thanks for full filling my Mexican food craving). The girls and I went shopping for some summer clothes while Brandon was at his conference all day. We went to this awesome new Frozen Yogurt place. If you ever go to St George stop by KRAVE, it is off of St George Blvd. It is self serve frozen yogurt, and they charge you by the oz. So you can put however much ice cream, and toppings you desire. The girls loved it too. They need one up here. Of course we stopped by the Beaver Cheese outlet to get some "Squeaky Cheese", and ate out many times. But I have to tell you we never went anywhere that had fries. Pretty good I thought. On the way home we stopped at Red Cliffs and hiked around, and the water was full enough that people were swimming and jumping into the pools of water. Crazy, I say Crazy!!! We found where the caterpillars hatch and migrate. We were walking under a bunch of trees, by a little creek. Its where a picnic area is. But as we were walking across the little bridge across the creek we saw a caterpillar. But we didn't know that there was only one. There were millions, there were probably 10 per footstep, the ground was covered. It was disgusting, we walked through there so fast. I have no idea how people were camping by that. I would be afraid they would be crawling in my sleeping bag. The trees were covered with the nest of these caterpillars. So they were dropping from the trees. We definitely checked ourselves to make sure there weren't any catching a ride.

I realized I hadn't taken any pictures our whole trip. But I did take some while we were hiking in Red Cliffs.

Our little family, Jillian was terrified of the cliff behind us, so she was not happy to be standing there.

I tried taking a picture of all three of them. But Kelsie was the only one cooperating with me. I cant believe how big she is getting so fast. :(

The last time we came hiking up here was when Jillian was about 14 months old. And we had taken a picture of Kelsie and Jillian on this bench. So we thought we would recreate it with the three of them.

The girls thought this looked like a Dragon, or a Dinosaur.

This is what Happens...

This is what Happens when you tell her no, after no, after no. And she doesnt listen to you. Is she really old enought to do it by herself? Well she was going to prove it to me.

Lost her First Tooth

Jillian Lost her first tooth yesterday. She was so excited, that she really wanted to go to school so that she could show her Substitute, and all her friends. Which if you have been around Jillian the last couple weeks she hasnt wanted to go to school. So this was a big thing. I think she is getting Spring Fever, and maybe that her teacher is on Maternity leave doesnt help either.
So the tooth fairy did come and visit her. And left her a great gift in exchange for her tooth. She got a pack of gum, (which I am sure will be gone in a day) and two dollars.

Its Finished!!!

Its bragging time!!! Brandon has finished the downstairs bathroom. It looks beautiful, he did such a great job. He did all the work by himself, I mean all of it. Sheetrock, mudding, plumbing, electrical, tiling, painting and the finish work. Most of it was done while I was sick with morning sickness, (or all day sickness). I cant wait to buy decorations for it. I have lots of ideas. But now we can think of trying to figure out how to move Kelsie downstairs, and how to situate the bedrooms and storage.

Easter

We had a great Easter Day, watching Confrence and spending a lot of time with our families.
First we started off with our own little egg hunt, discovering that the Easter Bunny had visited us. He had taken our decorated eggs and hid them downstairs, along with filling our baskets full of goodies and hiding them.

Jillians was hidden in the closet under the stairs.

Annies was hidden on the side of the couch underneath pillows.

And Kelsies, she had the hardest time finding hers. Dad had to help her out a little. But we finally found hers in the new bathroom, under the sink in the cabinet. She thought that was funny. They all recieved fun summer pajamas in the baskets along with way too much candy.

All three of them in their new PJ's.

We watched morning confrence and played some confrence Bingo. Then after the morning session we headed over to my parents house to have a BBQ for Lunch. It was Yummy!!!!

Here are all the cousins on my side getting ready to go downstairs for an egg/candy hunt. Kelsie, Jillian, Annie, Devin and Gavin.

Group shot, showing what they found. Including Gwynn that we woke up for this picture. But she seemed happy.

Baby Gwynn, I was trying to get a picture of her smiling. Which she just wanted to talk.

We stayed and watched the Second session of Confrence then headed over to the Elzingas for dinner and another hunt.

All the kids piling out of the house to go get their loot. With this hunt, it isnt for candy. Grandpa fills them with all his extra change from the past year. The kids love it more than candy. Then they recieved a fun bag of candy from Grandma.

Annie, Jillian and Brandon getting eggs. Annie only wanted the purple eggs at first.

Kelsie finding eggs in the stairwell.

Annie decided other colors were ok too.

It was a great day, and we love spending time with both of our families. We loved not having to go to church and race to both families.
Hope everyone had a great Easter.

Coloring Eggs

A big Easter Tradition is to color hard boiled eggs the Saturday before Easter. The girls love to get creative and make them fun. Again they enjoyed themselves.

Waiting for everything to be ready.

Annie coloring her first egg. I have to explain the whisk. I saw it on another blog that a lady had used this with her small kids so that they didn't drop it while putting it in the dye and taking it out. So I wanted to try it. Annie did not like it at all. She wanted to use the regular wire thingies. Not sure what they are called. It worked out just as well. She ended up using her fingers alot.

Brandon of course got into it, and made some cool eggs.

Kelsie showing off hers.

Jillian was constantly checking hers. She wasn't patient enough to just let it sit in there. But she had fun.

The six eggs that had our names on it. Including Baby #4 which doesn't have a name yet.

All the fun colors that were created.

Kelsies first play

Kelsie participated in her School Readers theatre with her class. So Annie and I were able to go and watch them perform. They did a great job.

Sorry you cant hear it very well, they had microphone problems. But Kelsie was the Old Lady that is why she is dressed in that skirt and apron.

Build a Bear Birthday

Grandma and Grandpa Elzinga for most of the kids 3 birthdays, have taken them to Build a Bear to build a bear. My girls have loved it, and have looked forward to it. This year it was Annies turn. She has been wanting one for a little while now and was really excited to go. We met them at the Mall and Annie saw them and ran straight for them, she was ready. Here are a few pictures from her trip.

Picked out a Pink bear.

Filling her up with the stuffing. She really didnt like the noise of the machine.

Picking out a special heart to put inside her.

Giving her a bath

She found some clothes to dress her in. And of course it is a princess outfit. She thinks it is Tinkerbell, but the more we look at it I think it is Princess Tiana from Princess and the Frog. But it is the colors of Tinker bell. With Pink shoes.

Of course she had to name it, so she named her "Pink". Very Creative huh? She loves it and had a great time. Thanks Gma, and Gpa.
